By hiring from Amaya Dress Hire, you agree to our terms and conditions. Amaya Dress Hire reserves the right to change any terms and conditions at its discretion without notice.

BOOKINGS

We want your experience with us to be personal, straightforward and efficient. Therefore, all bookings can be made by contacting us directly via Instagram.

We reserve the right to request photo ID to ensure the security of our items.

We offer free shipping with all hires. A prepaid return label and cleaning fee are included in the hire price.

All of our orders are sent using the next day delivery option with An Post. However, we cannot be responsible for postal delays as it is completely out of our control. In the rare event that your dress does not arrive on time, you will be entitled to store credit (valid for 6 months) minus the postage fee. When possible for us to do so, dresses which are booked in advance are sent out at least 4 days before your event to ensure they arrive in plenty of time.

Your booking is confirmed once payment is made and will be held for 24 hours without prior payment.

Payment can be made via bank transfer, Revolut or PayPal.

The date in which your item should be returned to us will be confirmed upon booking. It will usually be the next working day after your event.

RETURNS PROCESS

All garments must be returned by the agreed date which will be confirmed upon booking. 

To return your dress, place it back in the reusable postal bag and take it to your nearest post office. Before your return date, we will send you a barcode which you must show to the post office. They will print the label and take care of the rest. You do not need to print the label unless the post office are having technical difficulties and are unable to do so. 

Please make sure to ask for a receipt with tracking details and forward it to us.

A late fee (€20 per day) will apply if your garment is not returned to us by the agreed date with proof of postage provided.

CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS

Cancellations can only be made if the garment has not yet been shipped. 

You have a 3 day cooling off period after your garment is booked. If you wish to cancel within this time, you will be entitled to a full refund. Anytime after that, you will be offered store credit only (valid for 6 months). Store credit can only be used once.

In the event the item does not fit, you must return it the day you receive it using the prepaid return label and proof of postage must be provided. You will be offered store credit (valid for 6 months) minus the postage fee. Store credit can only be used once.

DAMAGES / GARMENT CONDITION

We ask that you treat our garments with care and respect as if they were your own.

Please note that minor wear and tear can be expected from a pre-owned garment. When hiring, please do not expect the garment to be in brand new condition. Our garments are regularly hired so may have general wear.

All our items are professionally dry cleaned which is included in the hire price. Therefore, we ask that you do not clean or attempt to clean your garment.

Any damage that occurs to the garment during the hire period must be paid for and may cost up to the full RRP.

If your garment is damaged beyond repair or goes missing during the hire period, the full RRP must be paid. 

Please notify us immediately of any damage.

In the event that your dress is lost and/or not returned to us, you will be liable to cover the full RRP of the dress.

TRY ONS

The option to try on our garments is available at our location in Co. Kildare. There is a €10 booking fee to avail of our try on service which is fully redeemable against your hire. The booking fee is non-refundable unless you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment. Contact us to make a booking.

If you are unable to try on the garment, we will send you the measurements and advise you the best we can to ensure you will be happy with the sizing. We suggest checking the size guide on the brand's website and to try on in store if possible.

We completely understand that guessing your size doesn’t always work out. In the event that your chosen item does not fit/suit, it must be returned the same day that it is received using the prepaid return label. Proof of postage must be sent to us and you will be offered store credit (valid for 6 months) minus the shipping costs.

We are not responsible for how the colour of our items is reflected on your device.

COLLABORATIONS

By collaborating with Amaya Dress Hire, you agree to the following:

As part of the collaboration, you can choose a dress from our collection which you can wear for an occasion or simply to take content. We will send it to you free of charge and include a prepaid return label.

In return, you would create content for us (photos / videos) wearing your chosen item and upload at least one post and one story to your Instagram, tagging us in both.

Upon receiving the garment, if it does not suit / fit, you must return it to us the same day you receive it.

We ask that you take care of the garment as if it were your own.

In the event of any irreparable damage or loss of the garment, the full RRP must be paid.
